Our purpose

Han Name Studio explains Chinese names, language, philosophy, folklore, and travel context for English-language readers. The tools are educational cultural experiences, not professional advice or claims of supernatural accuracy. Every public page should remain useful without advertising.

How we create content

We begin with a specific reader question, consult appropriate primary or reputable reference material, and write an original explanation in plain English. Cultural practices can vary by period, region, family, and school of interpretation; we label that variation instead of presenting one custom as universal. Time-sensitive travel or entry information must point readers to the relevant official authority and include a review date.

Review and publication

Drafts are kept out of public routes and the sitemap. Before publication, an editor checks the title and summary, factual claims, Chinese characters and pinyin, examples, internal and external links, limitations, image descriptions, and whether the page adds a distinct answer. Publication dates describe when an article first became public; material revisions are reflected by the updated date generated by the content system.

Automation and AI

Software may assist with spelling, formatting, code, outlines, or quality checks. Automated output is not treated as a source or published without human review. We do not use automation to mass-produce near-duplicate pages, fabricate experience, create citations that were not checked, or imitate a named author.

Corrections

Readers can report an error through the contact page. We assess the underlying source and correct material errors promptly. Minor spelling or formatting corrections may be made without a note; a change that alters the substance, safety, or conclusion should be explained on the page. Disagreements among legitimate traditions are described as such rather than silently choosing a winner.

Advertising independence

Advertisers do not choose topics, review drafts, or receive favorable treatment. Ads, if activated after approval and consent configuration, must remain visually separate from navigation, tools, results, and calls to action. Compensation never changes a cultural interpretation or tool result.

Scope and limitations

Names generated by the site require a fluent speaker's review before official or permanent use. I Ching, zodiac, and five-element results are folklore and reflection. Travel, visa, medical, legal, tax, and financial decisions must be checked with current official or qualified sources.
